Tai - Beatdown EP

After two strikes like Lyposuct with D.I.M and Rocking ‘The Set TAI comes with the next tattoo, together with DIM MAIK founder Steve Aoki. Like we know from DIM MAK The Beat Down EP contains all kind of ultra-high-level rave sounds to kill your eardrum. My one if you like to know is the original of Paradise Poltergeist.

Have a preview to the EP here:

But my focus aims more to the LA Riots Remix of Paradise Poltergeist and i think this will be one of the next clubhit! Massive!!!

Bon Homme – Mother (Motor Music)

Posted in Cut The Noize on September 13th, 2010 by alt

In a sense, the Danish Tomas Høffding has everything he’s ever wished for in his life. He is happily in love. He is the singer and bassist of the trio WhoMadeWho, a band that, thanks to their tongue-in-cheek disco indie-rock and their enthusiastic shows, can always count on the raging applause of their international crowds. Together with a handful of friends, he owns an old farmer’s house in Sweden, into which he can retreat after exhausting tours and nerve-wrecking studio sessions.
Despite all of these perfect conditions, until recently, the man from Copenhagen was missing something that he created and defined on his very own. Something that would make him artistically independent of WhoMadeWho. Something to which his colleagues Jeppe Kjellberg and Tomas Barfod would, if at all, contribute nothing more than well-meant tips. Read more »

The future of turntablism? It seems to be….

Posted in Cut The Noize on September 13th, 2010 by alt

I don’t want to talk so much about it cause it isn’t necessary. Gergwerk aka Gregory Kaufmann is a Graphic Desginer who graduated with a BFA at the Kansas City Art Institute in May 2010. And during his leisure time he just worked out a ‘Multi Touch Light Table‘, whicht could be a small revolution for the DJ world! Just watch it and tell what you think about. Would you like to play in the clubs with such a lighted table?

Here you can see images of the prcoess of development.

Die Antwoord Debut Album via Cherrytree

Posted in Cut The Noize on September 12th, 2010 by alt

You all know one of the biggest hyped acts of this year. Yes, Die Antwoord, the amazing South African naughty and cutuped ravers of the world. They are a perfect example how a musiact become famous through the internet, but even more. You can describe Die Antwoord’s success as a really internet sensation.
Now on friday they updated their website and everything they show is just a photo (see above) and just a countdown on the buttom left side.
If i can trust the information i found, it will be the cover of their $o$ album, to be released via Cherrytree/Interscope. And the countdown is running down to the release date to the reworked version of the same album which you originally could download on Die Antwoord’s website earlier this year. If i calculate right $o$ is coming out on October 12.

And to make this post round here is the awsome official video of Zef Side:

Röyksopp’s exclusive Preview of ‘Senior’

Posted in Cut The Noize on September 9th, 2010 by alt

Tomorrow on September 10 Röyksopp‘s new Album Senior hits the stores.

Due to this you have the chance to stream the album via Hypem, or directly here .-)
I must admit that the last album Junior was a big disappointment for me. An album full of extraneous tracks without any concept. At this moment i don’t know what i should think about Senior. For the first it seems to me that Röyksopp wants to conquer with Air.

I would be very interested in what you think about it?

Telonius – Hit Me (Video)

Posted in Cut The Noize on September 2nd, 2010 by alt

Already in April Telonius brought out his ‘Hit Me‘ EP. And today Gomma released the video’ exclusively via Myspace.  See what they tell about it:

“Groove Armada, Dimitri From Paris, Larry T loved this release… It was one of the Miami WMC – Hits of Aeroplane. The remix of legendary German house producer Ian Pooley turned into a massive club hit. Finally here is the exclusive MySpace video release to this futuristic disco house cover version of Ian Dury’s Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick. Telonius made this track a while ago for a 80ies cover contest, but as more and more DJs asked for the tune we finally gave it a proper release: The single including remixes by Ian Pooley, Cassian, Bottin out on Gomma. Video directed by Markus Zecher & Markus Burke.”
