This summer Plant dropped Eli Escobar‘s “Desire” featuring Nomi Ruiz (Jessica 6 & Hercules & Love Affair) and the response was phenomenal. Now Plant Music is ready to hit you with the remix package. Chicago house legend DJ Sneak delivers a bumpy dub. German house deity Ian Pooley (yeah: rollin’ with the 90′s here) comes with a slick vocal and dub mix. LA nu-disco duo Cosmic Kids drop a heavy driving remix with some arp magic. Finally Exploited’s newcomers Cocolores bring the acid with a vocal and dub.

“Big Bad Wolf” “is pretty simple, and it can mean anything, really, so we wanted the video to have its own narrative,” says A-Trak, one-half of the dance duo Duck Sauce, along with DJ Armand Van Helden. “Remember when dance music videos used to actually be creative? Like when you think back to Aphex Twin, Fatboy Slim and Daft Punk… I don’t know why the genre’s videos became so generic in recent years.
“When Keith [Schoffield] came up with this idea of ‘crotchfaces,’ we just thought it was hilarious,” A-Trak continues. “He started coming up with all these gags and describing the characters living in this sort of parallel world, and we were sold. He wasn’t sure if we’d be down to play the leads, but our take on this was, if we’re going to do this, we need to go all the way. So we played the dickheads, essentially.”

Timo Maas makes his long-awaited return with a new single ‘College 84’ featuring Placebo’s Brian Molko. Set for release in November on Maas’ own label Rockets & Ponies, the single precedes his highly anticipated third artist album due out in 2012. Legendary producer Alan Moulder (best known for his work with Depeche Mode, The Killers, Nine Inch Nails and Foo Fighters to name a few) has mixed the fusion of electronic beats, sinister chords and hypnotic vocals to make an anthemic club track. &ME, Sam Young and Adam Port also make an appearance with their remixes of the single completing the package.

Audiomandarin, the fresh duo from the north of Germany and the producers: “Markwid“ and “Ben Button“ are working on a special club sound, which creates an incredible atmosphere and gives you the creeps just at the right moment. Their stunning debut “Riddim Is A Dancer“ results out of the past year, reflecting their roots which are based on typical sounds of the 90´s. The sound of Audiomandarin isn´t easy to classify but it’s pretty interesting and will capture you right away. If you would ask them, they’ll call it “Tipsy Riddim“. The EP, which will have this guys winning a lot of fans in the future, holds three different tracks guaranteed to shake bodies on the floor. We can’t wait to hear more from them.

ZZT – PARTYS OVER LOS ANGELES The video for the lead single off ZZT’s debut album takes us into the sordid world of Automobile Fighting, where the semi-sentient ZZTmobile makes its last stand against injustice in Quebec.
Even if it is this event to of a large beer producers, I think this video should definitely find its mention. And not only that: the extraordinary dance performance accompanied by actually one of the hottest producers and remixers, who at just 17 years, made a splash worldwide.
The talk is of Skrillex aka Sonny Moore.
This time he remixed “Frida’s Gold – Zeig Mir Wie Du Tanzt” and produced a fat electric rave smasher. It’s the video and song that serves as the basis for the “Beck’s Music Experience” event.

With ‘Green Eyes’ the fresh and exciting Berlin based disco funk ensemble DATA MC consisting of singer Ono, producer Walera and DJ San Gabriel is presenting the next single release out of their fresh longplayer ‘Daily Mirror’ which is a reflection of their latest live tour through Israel. Reminiscent of that fact the original song starts off with crashing waves creating a summerish vibe, while a shuffle beat groove and dreamy atmospheric synth sounds come in and the story-telling lyrics of Ono don’t leave any doubt somehow he must have lost his mind in the eyes of a special lady during that tour. However, it´s a song to fall in love with which you will do as well with the marvellous remix package that is provided here. The remix line up is opened by Mood Music Rec. member Alexander Maier who brings in an excellent emotional deep house interpretation that sents out a certain melancholy. Next up is Philipp Maier aka Santé – famous for his latest releases on Rekids and Souvenir Music – raising up the pace and delivering again high quality prime time entertainment for house and techno floors alike. Berlins popular indie electro pop trio Bullmeister then lifts “Green Eyes” up to another level of energy yet keeps it eclectic. Surely the choice of fans of latest Magician productions. At least we have on board a deep Funk take of Israel based producer Michael Cohen perfect for chill out hours. So, all is here to have ‘Green Eyes’ in your set!
