NIAS tell the story of Berlin, their continuously changing hometown: Of its folks and faces, its deteriorated streets as well as the comprehension of lonesomeness and collective euphoria. Like the metropolis they are from, NIAS are impulsive and unpredictable. Rough voices, synthetic baselines and stirring beats are mixed with beautiful harmony and pure elegance result in great Pop music which won’t get out of your head – and feet – so easily. Without hesitation, one can compare NIAS with internationally recognized bands such as Metronomy, Chromeo, Nôze and Bloc Party. Founded by Singer/Singwriter/Guitarist Nikolas Tillmann (Tille) and Drummer/Producer Milian Vogel, and completed through the membership of all-round-talent Georg Wende 2010, the band is about to release their first, self-titled Album by end of march followed by an extended tour through GSA.
‘She Would’ is the second single to be taken from their album, which is getting already props by Rob Kirwan (Producer and Sound Engineer of U2,BabyshamblesDepeche Mode) who stated „I think this band has a lot of potential… I like their energy and the diversity of their sound.” To make the single work for electronic and disco club floors it was twisted and reworked by internationally well known players of the electro circuit. Among them are Television Rocks label owner Maral Salmassi and coming from the heart of Hamburg the Audiolith Rec. members Saint Pauli and Mendoza.
