Acid Washed – General Motors, Detroit, America / Snake (Remixes)

Acid Washed - GM, Detroit, Amercia, Snake (Remixes)

„If DFA made love to Daft Punk, we would be their secret, crazy and beautiful lovechild“

Record Makers, (home of Kavinsky & Sebastien Tellier etc.) latest signing Acid Washed are crafting cosmic disco party tunes, as additionally produced by Xaver Naudascher (DFA / Supersoul).

General Motors, Detroit, America is the first offering to emerge from the mysterious Parisian dance duo, Acid Washed. The influence of Chicago and Detroit techno lingers on the backseat in this six-minute joy-ride of sprawling atmospheric electronica. Snake amply showcases a different, more collaborative side to Acid Washed. Berlin based newcomer, Barbara Panther, catches the eye with a sultry vocal performance with a sting in the tail. Equally adept at providing softness, her dynamism shimmers alongside the deft production.

As per usual, Record Makers have assembled a stellar remix package. Listen below.

British artist Anthony Burrill directed a hypnotic video for the epic space disco journey of GMDA & SPACE: watch it!
