DUKE DUMONT FT. A*M*E – NEED U (100%)

Duke Dumont

2012 really was a great year for the Duke and it looks like 2013 could be even better for the UK producer. Before ‘Need U (100%)’ he was known for making underground dancefloor destroyers – think the mega smash ‘The Giver’ or ‘Street Walker’ on Turbo Rec. These EPs alerted the heads to the Duke movement and received support from the likes of Jamie Jones and Simian Mobile Disco. Remixes for Aluna George, Haim and Santigold quickly followed which has made Duke the man to watch. ‘The producer’s producer’ has become the ‘people’s producer’. But this latest single really indicates Duke Dumont’s explosion onto the mainstream scene. ‘Need U (100%)’ is released through the producer’s label Blasé Boys Club and there is also backing from none other than Ministry of Sound under exclusive license to B1M1 RECORDINGS. This major label backing comes alongside support from the worlds biggest stations incl Radio 1, 1Xtra, Kiss FM and Capital FM.

Duke Dumont has already topped the Official UK Top 40 Singles Chart with his latest single, ‘Need U (100%)’ and is now about to conquer the rest of the world including good old Germany. The single, which features A*M*E on vocals, has been at the top of the UK iTunes charts over weeks and it was no surprise when it came in at #1 in the UK Top 40 today after selling 92,000 copies. Congratulations have been pouring in for the UK producer from all over the dance music scene. ‘Need U (100%)’ is out now B1B1 Rec. and the Duke’s own imprint Blasé Boys Club. Remixes are coming from Waze & Odyssey and Skreamix
