THE VERY FIRST TEENAGER – LORBAS REMIXES

Tvft - Lorbas (Cover Art)

Karmakosmetix, the influential Kristiandsand-Hamburg indielabel, that has been a home for Norway’s most exciting exports Honningbarna, Hanne Kolstö and Sgrow are proud to announce their most recent signing The Very First Teenanger, which will be the first release on new sublabel Karmakosmetix Edition.

Hailing from Hamburg, producer duo The Very First Teenager blend ambient musical landscapes with their hometown’s subtlety to make loved-up, at the same time rough electro pop; their debut ‘Lorbas‘ playfully conjuring images of euphoric summer nights in the clouds with it’s sticking guitar theme, distorted piano and hung over vocoder sample. the single comes along with five astonishing rewords from upcoming producers which all take a different approach on the song and create and bundle totally worth your attention.

July will also see the release of their first EP ‘You’ve Heard You’ve Seen You Know’ which comes digital and as 180g vinyl.

Federweiss & LennArt‘s Remix of Lorbas is truly made for the Dancefloor. This secret wapon still carries the hypnotic and energetic vibe of the original TVFT Track but builds up a thrilling world of sound that collapses in a stunning drop. A sure shot for your peaktime set.

Fumus & Nebula are a liveact from Lüneburg, Germany. Their solid affection for gear always leads to mindblowing battles between them and their machines. As much as they are a clear win to watch live, when it comes to studio Fumus & Nebula are able to recreate their special vibe on record, as proven with their stunning rework of TVFT’s Lorbas. A track dedicated to the afterhour.

Waskerley Way is a moniker of Michael Bridgewater, a producer from Newcastle, UK. Working in a manner anchored by the traditions of musique concrète and classic hip hop production, Waskerley Way emerged from a lo-fi pop underground to make genre-defying tracks by warping and mangling fragments of sounds.
Waskerley Way has featured on bills alongside artists as diverse as Dirty Beaches, Savages,Django Django and Teengirl Fantasy, and his tracks have apeared in several blogs and publications worldwide. His downtempo remix of ‘Lorbas’ is like a downpour after the heatwave.
