Montel emerged in summer 2012 with his first demos – played by lot of DJ friends in New York’s underground House scene. The impact of them was immediate. House heroes of the day like Bicep, Jordan Peak and Waze & Odyssey were quick to come out in support and collaboration singles with them soon followed.
It was influential labels like Brooklyn’s Let’s Play House and Love Revolution as well as European outposts like ALiVE, Skylax and Midnight Love Club that came calling. A few releases followed.
