With ‘Green Eyes’ the fresh and exciting Berlin based disco funk ensemble DATA MC consisting of singer Ono, producer Walera and DJ San Gabriel is presenting the next single release out of their fresh longplayer ‘Daily Mirror’ which is a reflection of their latest live tour through Israel. Reminiscent of that fact the original song starts off with crashing waves creating a summerish vibe, while a shuffle beat groove and dreamy atmospheric synth sounds come in and the story-telling lyrics of Ono don’t leave any doubt somehow he must have lost his mind in the eyes of a special lady during that tour. However, it´s a song to fall in love with which you will do as well with the marvellous remix package that is provided here. The remix line up is opened by Mood Music Rec. member Alexander Maier who brings in an excellent emotional deep house interpretation that sents out a certain melancholy.
