Founded in 2010, the six day-dreamers of Of Monsters and Men are coming back with a fantastic new single. With their songs, the six guys found a fast way out from Iceland flooting the world with their handmade folk-pop music.
As a winner of a band contest in 2010 they got a coveted slot at the Iceland Airwaves festival and they were so good that they played again in 2011. The Seattle radio station KEXP became aware of it. An online posting of the radiostation for the single “Little Talks” brought the wave of attention outside of Iceland.
Meanwhile, singer and guitarist Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir are guitarist and vocalist Ragnar Thorhallsson, Brynjar Leifsson guitarist, drummer Arnar Rosary Hilmarsson, pianist and accordion player and bassist Árni Guðjónsson Kristján Kristjánsson Páll on the best way to conquer the world music stage. The debut album “My Head Is An Animal” was released on April 20th this year.
