The three founders – part Portuguese / part German – of the last year formed label Container Music which is based in Hamburg, got together to do and release only electronic dance stuff they are totally in love with. That is the spirit that drives this ambitious label. It’s the amazement caused by the music that matters, more than the musical genre. They don’t follow tendencies and they define their label as ”atypical audio for atypical people“. The 4th Container release comes from Portuguese electronica duo Voxels who are already well known among connaisseurs from their re-freshing releases on the established label Enchufada.
Picture this: two guys inside a studio filled with analog synthesizers. No schedule, no meetings, no reason to leave the keys and knobs of their assorted noise machines: just plenty of time to fiddle, improvise like mad scientists and make some damn good music. Voxels are exactly this. Between the paraphernalia of sounds stuck inside their soundproof studio walls they came up with these two charming songs: “Just For You” is a shiny dramatic House track with a hint of obsession and “Chant” is a deep hypnotic track, perfect to close a set at sunrise.
